Plot outline: Two friends catching up on their disastrous dates over coffee and talking about their current situation.
Key micro features:
Camerawork-Over shoulder shot, two shot, reverse shots, CU, MCU or MLS, matching action shot.
Sound-Non diegetic sound of people taking in the coffee shop maybe added after the main dialogue is recorded.
Props-Coffee cups in hand to emphasise location (cafe at school). Basic Dialogue- having a catch up as they haven't seen each other in a long time.
Mise en scene-Wearing basic clothing- Jeans &shirt and coat. Natural lighting to give an authentic feel to the short film
Editing- Music overlapping establishing shot, fade at the end of short film with music from start playing again.
